  PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE IN CIVIL ENGINEERING 

  • Design and Calculation of reinforced concrete and steel structures using American and European codes. (More than 500 references available): Buildings, towers, retaining walls, hangars, domes, facades, warehouses, water tanks, silos….
  • Practiced in US and European Standards in reinforced concrete and steel design
  • Extensive experience in numerical modeling of structures using Robot Structural Analysis, ETABS, SAP, STAAD, PROKON
  • Strong knowledge in continuum mechanics, finite elements, earthquake analysis, non-linear analysis (material and geometrical), cables structures, soil mechanics

2003 to present:  Professor of Structural Analysis at Saint-Joseph University

  • Static and vibrational analysis

  • Modeling of structures with the use of finite elements programs

 

Development of high quality software for civil engineers

  • Programming and coding in C# and VB.NET: graphical interface, calculation engine, automation of Word, Excel and AutoCAD, and the use of finite elements
  • Developed applications: continuous beams, deep beams, shear walls, finite elements analysis of 2D slabs and 3D buildings
