SUMMARY OF CAPABILITIES:
Mr. Mugharbil was the Head of Mechanical Design Unit/Project Manager at the Mechanical Engineering & Industry Department in Dar Al-Handassah (Shair & Partners) in Beirut Office, with an experience of over 30 years. His expertise is multi-directional and encompasses basic and detailed design, coordination of design activities, management of design teams, preparation of specifications and tender documents, tender analysis, direct site supervision, follow-up of construction as well as review and approval of shop drawings and materials submission for building services and infrastructure-related mechanical works, including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, building automation and control, and fuel systems. In addition, Mr. Mugharbil has extensive experience in document preparation and site supervision of Operation and Maintenance Contracts of buildings. With this widely spread experience in more than 89 projects in a number of countries in Middle East and Africa, Mr. Mugharbil has acquired an incredible design experience. He is also well recognized in adopting multi-thinning approaches which lead to integrated and economical designs within international standards. Mr. Mugharbil participated in a variety of major projects such as airports, fuel farms, hotels, hospitals, office and apartment buildings, educational facilities, industrial plants, car-parks, tunnels and pumping stations. He is very well experienced in fire-fighting systems as well as International and local standard requirements and especially the NFPA standards. Mr. Mugharbel has further experience in the field of claim review analysis and response. He participated in a major international arbitration case in the capacity of witness of fact in Paris. In addition, Mr. Mugharbil has assumed the responsibilities of Project Manager over important projects in his field of experience, including RO plants, District Cooling Plants, warehouses, and O&M of airports.
Mr. Mugharbil also has extensive experience in value engineering as he participated in many value engineering workshops for all types of buildings at different scales and prepared schedules of valid alternatives.
